West Art Picture Framing School. Learn to frame professionally in a 1 or 2 person-sized class, taught by nationally recognized and award-winning framer, Ray Dwyer, CPF (2nd place in 2004 National Open Framing Championship in Las Vegas.)
Both the beginners and advanced picture framing classes are five intensive days from 9 am to 5 or 6 pm. Students have hands-on instruction, and create several framed pieces using many of the various techniques. Students also learn how to set up their business and picture framing shop for efficiency and top production. Emphasis is on craftsmanship, design, and professionalism.

Students are served lunches each day, and given a "graduation" dinner on Friday evening. West Art Picture Framing School is located in rustic, rural northern Idaho near Sandpoint. The area is a popular vacation resort area. Planes, trains, and buses easily access the area, and West Art Framing will provide transportation to and from the airport or terminal. Lodging in the area is inexpensive, ranging from $30-80 a night.
